Your character cannot directly impact someone else's character unless all admins involved are on the same page

There can not be duplicates of canon characters within Visionary AU specifically. Visionary is multiversal, so you can have characters from alternate worlds, but they'd need a good reason to end up in Visionary's main universe.

If you have a character that you would like to make extremely powerful, limitations need to be discussed with me (Birdie) to ensure their existence doesn't conflict with the backbone of Visionary's world building.

The Restoration - Good position for well intentioned characters, or alternatively, getting loosely involved with the main cast, as a lot of crossover occurs between the overall Restoration and their subfaction, Operation Ambrosia. If your character is just starting out in volunteer work or otherwise doesn't have a good reason to be intimately involved in high profile cases, this is a solid start at hero work where you can build the foundation of what they do for their community.

Operation Ambrosia - The subfaction of the Restoration that specifically tackles the ichor-tainted's case. These faction members live separate from the rest of the Restoration in a secret bunker, working together as a group to find a cure for or utilize the properties of Ichor in a way that benefits society. In order to enter Operation Ambrosia, your character has to have a reason to be so close to something so sensitive, or otherwise be trusted enough by an existing member. Most entries have to be verified by the Operation lead, Dusk the Rabbit.

The Eggman Empire - The heart of all evil and suffering. Whether you want to write a relentlessly cruel, cartoonishly cruel, or otherwise unfortunate victim, the Empire is the place to be. Most off screen conflict and drama happens here, so it's good to be in if you want a lot of activity.

Clean Slate - All things morally gray. Characters in this faction are likely to look out for themselves or have shaky morals. This is a good faction to be in if your character would otherwise be an outcast, or if you want an environment to pioneer your own events, as members in Clean Slate have a lot more free will than any other faction.

Moonstone - A perfectly neutral faction, if it can be regarded a faction at all. Moonstone is a fairly sized city easily accessible by most other factions. Any type of person can live here, ordinary or otherwise, but due to the location being close enough to an Eggpire outpost, conflict frequently sparks between them and the Restoration.

Cultivar Foundation (Limited Time) - The Cultivar Foundation is a Visionary-exclusive faction with no standing in canon Sonic lore, whose entire existence is fixed around the care and containment of children with unstable or easily exploitable powers. Former experiments of the empire, or those born with unstable powers with no support system. Cultivar is very structured, with characters usually paired child-to-mentor, but it's a good place to be if you want to dip your toes far from the main plot. . . For now. It's important that I note that the plot of Visionary has it written that the Cultivar Foundation may soon fall, so getting a character in this faction won't always be an option.

Twilightstead - Another town, significantly smaller and completely separate from the main plot. This location is regarded as supernatural, an eerie midwestern setting where inexplainable anomalies occur. Cults, monsters, and undocumented viruses, this is the place to put a character in for a bit of fresh air from the overarching plot of the main story. Personally, it's one of my favorites.
